Setting Up Your E-mail in MS Outlook

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.
  2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
  3. On the Server Type window, select POP3 and click Next.
  4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, in the Your Name field, type your first and last name.
  5. In the E-mail Address field, type your email address.
  6. In the User Name and Password fields, type your user name (your full email address) and password, and then specify whether you want Outlook to remember your password.
  7. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) field, type the name of your incoming server mail.cityselectusa.com.
  8. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, type smtpout.secureserver.net.
  9. Click More Settings.
  10. On the Internet E-mail Setting window, click Outgoing Server.
  11. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  12. Select Log on using, and then, in the User Name and Password fields, type the user name and password you set up in the SMTP relay section of your Manage Email Accounts page.
  13. Specify whether Outlook should remember your password.
  14. Click the Advanced tab.
  15. In the Outgoing server (SMTP) field, change the port to 80 or 3535.
  16. Click OK.
  17. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, click Next.
  18. Click Finish.

Setting Up Your E-mail in MS Outlook Express

This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook Express to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook Express 6, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook Express. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook Express by using the settings in this tutorial.

To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook Express

  1. In Microsoft Outlook Express, select Tools > Accounts.


  2. Select the "Mail" tab in the Internet Accounts window


  3. Select your current city select account and click the "Remove"


  4. Click "Add."


  5. Enter you full name and click Next.


  6. Enter your e-mail address and click Next.


  7. On the E-mail Server Names window, enter your information as follows:
  8. My incoming mail server is a
    POP3 server
    Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server
    mail.cityselectusa.com
    Outgoing mail (SMTP) server
    smtpout.secureserver.net

    Click Next.




  9. Enter your e-mail address for your account name (your city select email address) and enter your password. Click Next.


  10. Click Finish.
  11. Select the mail account you just created and click "Properties."
  12. In the Properties window, select the Servers tab.
  13. At the bottom of the window, select "My server requires authentication."
  14. Select the "Advanced" tab and change the "Outgoing mail (SMTP)" server port number to 80. Click OK.
  15. Close Outlook Express and re-open it
